True broadband for Farming Communities
SmartFarmNet brings fibre connectivity to farming communities and areas where there is only Wi-Fi, Satellite or no coverage. Through high-speed broadband and WiFi coverage on the farm, the real-time management, precision agriculture, and analysis of all production on the farm become truly possible.
Wamboin, Bywong, Sutton
SmartFarmNet is working with the Wamboin Communication Action Group to deliver an affordable, reliable and scale-able optical fibre network for this area. After a community presentation in December 2017, a survey over January and February 2018 in which over 650 people responded, and a detailed design walk of the many routes across the area we are discussing payment and contract options with WCAG.
The NSW Government has recently established a Regional Digital Connectivity Program. This program may assist communities in establishing their own networks and we will be responding to that Program.
